I finally got them. And they are awesome. It’s funny though,
you can’t help it when you’re doing your reaction video like the one you are
about to see, but do the things they tell you NOT to do (or even
what to do):
INDOOR LENS IS FOR INDOOR
USE ONLY
WEAR GLASSES FOR 5-10 HOURS OVER 1-2 WEEKS TO ADAPT TO NEW
SENSORY INFORMATION
DO NOT “FLIP” OR TAKE THE GLASSES ON AND OFF
DON’T EAT AFTER MIDNIGHT OR GO SWIMMING UNTIL ONE HOUR AFTER
USE (or something like that; ok maybe not)
But take the following into account: I waited two months
(and an extra day thanks to USPS – no wonder the Post Office is going out of
business – NEXT DAY MEANS NEXT DAY) and spent a bunch of money for these
glasses and they better work. So here’s the video (custom frames with the Cx-65
or indoor lens):
In reality though, waiting certainly made sense. I started
looking at a black box and noticed the red accents on the box. I mean bright
red. Like it was red. Seriously red. Red red. Like I can’t make it clear how
red it was. Colors definitely stand out more, especially reds, pinks, oranges
and browns. It really is amazing. I even started to see colors albeit slightly
where it was just more gray.
So you may not be able to pass a Color Blind Test, but I
definitely think it’s worth it. But that’s only after a day, so I’ll get back
to you on that. Awesome. Thanks EnChroma.
